History

Opened late May 2000. The four-barrel brewery was formerly used by TH&M and John O'Gaunt breweries. Moved to share a new plant in Buntingford, Hertfordshire with Woodlands. The name ceased to be used in July 2002 as production was concentrated on the Buntingford name. The name was resurrected during the late summer of 2003, as production at Buntingford was suspended due to technical problems. Beers will be brewed using spare capacity at other breweries, initially Belvior. The name ceased being used in September 2004.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
