History
The plant of the defunct Bosham Brewery was moved to the Gribble Inn in the summer of 1987. Brewing ceased in 1989 but restarted in 1991 with the pub now being under the ownership of Hall & Woodhouse. A 5 barrel brewplant produces it's own beers as well as the recreation of King & Barnes Mild. In February 2005 the Gribble Brewery was separated from the Gribble Inn, which was handed over to Tenancy, and the brewery now operates as a totally independent business. During the summer of 2008 the brewery was sold once more.

Footnote - Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover both possibilities; Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed; and Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation.
