History

Founded in August 2001, this brewery is a joint venture set up by the owners of Banfield Ales and Woodlands Brewery. Initially ales from the original breweries continued to be made as well as ones under the Buntingford name, this practice ceased in July 2002 when brewing went full time. Acquired the 4½BBL plant from Stoney Rock Brewery in September 2002. Brewing was suspended during Summer 2003, due to a number of problems. This resulted in the temporary restarting of Banfield Ales. The name restarted being used, with the beers being produced at Belvoir, during September 2004, with brewing starting at their new location during September 2005 where a new 15BBL plant is used.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. A crowd-sourced beer list is also available on the Untappd page for this brewery. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.

Since the 1974 local government reorganisation there has been much controversy over many county boundaries. The links we provide cover all possibilities: Ceremonial Counties which are the areas for which a Lord-Lieutenant has been appointed, Historic Counties (and their allied county boroughs) which represent the position before the 1974 re-organisation and Local Authority which represents the third tear District level.
