Allied Breweries

History

Allied was established in 1961 following the amalgamation of Ansells, Tetley Walker and Ind Coope breweries. A number of breweries around the country were owned, these have separate entries. During 1992 a merger with Carlsberg, the Danish lager giant, took place and the company became Carlsberg-Tetley.
