History

Founded in 1857, it merged in 1961 with Tetley Walker Ltd and Ind Coope Ltd breweries to form Allied Breweries. The Aston Brewery stopped brewing in 1981 and production was moved to Allied's Burton plant. In early 2002, the brand was produced by Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company Limited at their Leeds plant. Brewing then moved to JW Lees & Co (Brewers) Ltd but by 2012 cask ale had ceased to be produced although keg beer is still available and brewed at an unknown site.

Beers Brewed

We do not maintain a list of beers brewed by each brewery. There may be a list on the brewery's own website. For historical information, we suggest you also visit the brewery page on the unfortunately no longer updated Beermad.
